But before you tear that sucker out of the envelope and go to town, you need to activate your new credit card first. Don’t worry, I’ll walk you through it step-by-step. Cracks knuckles. Let’s do this!

Activating Your JetBlue Mastercard Online at jetbluemastercard.com/activate
Activating your card online at jetbluemastercard.com/activate is quick and easy. Just have these things handy:
- Your new 16-digit card number
- The 3-digit security code on the back
- The last 4 digits of your SSN
- Your occupation (they ask when you activate)
Then simply:
- Go to jetbluemastercard.com/activate
- Existing cardmembers: Log in to your account
Newbies: Enter your card details when prompted - Select your occupation
- Click “Activate”
Cha-ching! Your new rewards calculator…er, I mean credit card…is now officially active! 🙌
Activating Your Card By Phone
If you prefer to activate your JetBlue Mastercard over the phone, call the number on the back of your card (usually 877-408-8866) and follow the automated prompts.
You’ll still need to enter those handy card details like before. So have your:
- Card number
- Security code
- Last 4 digits of your SSN
The automated system will guide you through the steps to get your card up and running in no time.
Setting Up Your Online Account Access
I highly recommend setting up online account access with Barclays before or after activating your card. It allows you to manage your account, check statements, pay your bill, and more.
To sign up:
- Go to the Online Access signup page
- Enter the last 4 digits of your SSN
- Enter your new 16-digit card number
- Select your occupation
- Click “Continue” and follow the steps
